The building amount is a survivor's ability first applied in Rebuild 2. It is obtained by every survivor, it shows how suitable he is for construction workings. The amount is shown at the survivor's picture, on the right beside an iron hammer.At the beginning it is the major skill for builders, but skill improvements and the maximum amount of 10.0 can be reached equally well by any survivor, regardless which survivor type he is.
A higher value not only provides less working days for a field improvement, it also sets free certain rebuilding measures.
Required skill level for replacements Edit
- from level 2 - Apartment
- from level 3 - Church, Bar, barricaded Mall/All Mart
- from level 4 - Hospital, School
- from level 5 - Laboratory
Improve of the basic value Edit
- School: +1,5 in 2 days for from 1 to 3 participants.
- Reclaiming a new field: +0,5 per participant. Lasts between 1 and 5 days.
- Doing alterations on taken fields: +0,5 per participant. Lasts between 2 and 6 days.
Repairing the rescue helicopter gives no profit to the survivor's experience.
Duration of reclaiming and replacement Edit
The shortest duration for taking or altering is reached by the total value of 11. So, with the maximum value of 10 per survivor it requires at least 2 people. This is valid for every degree of difficulty.
|skill||0 - 0.9||1 - 2.9||3 - 6.9||7 - 10.9||11 +|
|reclaiming||5 days||4 days||3 days||2 days||1 day|
|replacing||6 days||5 days||4 days||3 days||2 days|
Improvement by tools Edit
The maximum amount of 10.0 cannot be crossed by obtaining tools. So an appropriate tool turns useless for a high skilled builder.
|Chainsaw||1.5||1.0 Attack||25 food|
|Sledgehammer||1.0||1.0 Attack||20 food|
|Kitten||0.5 to all but attack||no|
If the required skill level for a replacement is once reached with help of a tool, it isn't necessary to keep it on during the works.
